The brand consists of fewer than 40 franchised stores within Australia and over 1200 kiosks. At its peak, Video Ezy had over 500 stores and in the 1980s and '90s, the company expanded into Asia.

"Incompetant office staff in accounts and logistics making it incredibly difficult to work effectively whilst trying to chase down basic information whilst encountering sheer rudeness"

"Would not recommend. Business is loosing traction and thus management is falling by the wayside. Great in theory but this day and age, often these stores fail to stimulate you enough per pay.Surrounding by movies.Little responsibilities."

"The boss I had wasn't friendly, sent an abusive email after I missed 1 shift, which I approached both the boss and his wife to apologise. I offered to take the rest of my shift and still recieved emails detailing how unhappy he was with my behaviour, using foul language. Even with having never missed a shift up until that point.Friendly coworkersNo lunch breaks"

"Very rarely did I leave on time after my shift ended and often stayed back late or came in early to get jobs done. On many occasions the manager would call me up and have me come in before my shift started and sometimes on my day off because she wasn't satisfied with certain outcomes of jobs I had done. I was working on average around an extra 2-3 hours per shift un compensated for two and a half years"

"While I enjoyed the work that I did at Video Ezy the (in my opinion) poor management of the place combined with the fact that the manager was married to the owner of the branch I worked for made for an unpleasant experience whenever I had a problem with the manager or how they did things.I had free movies for the first year.Poor Management"

"It was a fun environment and worked well with team I was hired to look after the retail sales of dvd's but due to competitive prices with bigger retail I was then promoted as team leader and opened and closed store, because it was a franchise it wasn't quite professional what I have always been used to and that is why I only stayed a year"
